About Me
My professional journey commenced in the capacity of a network technician, where I undertook responsibilities such as cable installation and equipment deployment within the Datacenter of a prominent dial-up Internet Service Provider. Evolving from this role, I transitioned into Unix/Linux systems administration, a domain in which I meticulously honed my troubleshooting acumen across various facets including systems, networking, and storage. Subsequently, I directed my focus towards Storage Engineering, gaining proficiency in managing products from reputable companies such as EMC, Isilon, Netapp, and HP 3PAR.
The advent of cloud computing marked a pivotal juncture in my career. In 2016, recognizing the burgeoning momentum of cloud technologies, my employer embarked on an ambitious initiative to migrate all applications from on-premise infrastructure to AWS. Seizing this opportunity, I seamlessly transitioned to the Site Reliability Engineering team, a decision that proved to be immensely rewarding. This transition sparked a profound interest in automation, DevOps methodologies, cloud migrations, and the strategic utilization of my extensive systems engineering expertise to architect highly resilient systems within the cloud environment.
